BACKGROUND
Communications High School is a highly selective, all honors, magnet art school. As a vocational school, students can build their personal coursework track to match their interests. With 8 creative spheres to choose from, students are equipped to enter industry.
PROBLEM
CHS’s initial visual identity did not correlate with what it claimed to be. The creative edge that each student embodies was not reflected in the logo and identity. To compete with other art programs and honor the rigorous prestige that CHS holds, it became evident that CHS needed nothing short of a new visual identity.
SOLUTION
What makes CHS different? This is the core of CHS’s new identity. The culture is dynamic, quirky, committed. Brilliant. Confident. A space for creative renegades. CHS is not a “normal” high school. The students coming out of this place are robust, exuding endless amounts of creative energy and integrity. The new identity is bold, with an edge. It is electric at surface value, yet sophisticated in quality. Directional, yet fluid.
