BACKGROUND
Printing is a love of mine because it taps into the canon of print history in our hyper-digital age. I hold 8 years of professional print experience. Working at a print company gave me access to the behind-the-scenes processes of a 24/7 professional print shop. I have extensive background in the RGB/CYMK colorspace conversion in addition to Pantone (PMS). Subtle elements, like paper stock alone, have the power to drastically alter the tone of a deliverable, so I place high emphasis on the material over the colorspace profile.
My personal philosophy is that texture through paper stock, coating, and finishing speak louder than color, so I prioritize those components over hues. I alway prefer to work in spot colors for best quality and accuracy and run jobs on offset rather than digital presses.
Regardless of the project, I always ask the why. I serve the project's needs and sometimes that involves challenging the status quo and finding creative solutions for new and effective print designs.
